every time i paint a texture on the terrain its there, but its invisible unless i use the game camera, is there a way to make it visible with the scene cam? it would make things so much easier.

im on version 3.5.1 i think, i reinstalled it several times before it worked at all and this is the first time its given me problems since. i managed to sort of fix it but its this really shiny off color map and i dont think its on the right view mode(i had to mess with a few settings to get it to this point)

its only on the terrain, or all objects, or have you not tried other textured objects yet?

Just to make sure, that box on the top left hand corner(right under where it says "Scene") is set to "Textured"(not "WireFrame","RenderPaths", or "LightMaps") and to the right of that it says "RGB"(not "Alpha", "OverDraw", or "MipMaps").
