Unity android will not build every time

So I have the android license from when it was given away free, been tinkering with it in hopes of starting a game. I had enough trouble getting unity to build just ONCE. I updated unity and it worked, but now when I try it again after having closed unity it WON'T build. All the setting are the same, I get the error of my unity API not being high enough.

Any ideas why this might happen? My android is a HTC EVO 3D

Can you post the whole text of error? And did you use build or build and run?

Error building Player: UnityException: No platforms found Android SD$$anonymous$$ does not include any platforms! Did you run Android SD$$anonymous$$ setup to install the platform(s)? $$anonymous$$inimum platform required for build is Android 4.0 (API level 14)

I try both, get the same error. Even though I do meet the $$anonymous$$imum platform and it was working just fine, didn't change anything

Have you tried redownloading the API level 14? And don't forget to set the location of Android SD$$anonymous$$ in the preference.

Okay, here's how I managed to get it right - (assuming C drive to be your system drive)

1a. Install both 32 & 64-bit versions of Java in your C drive. 1b. Install Android SDK in any drive other than C. Download and use the .exe file - not the .zip file. 2. Install Unity in C drive. 3. Proceed to creating your Unity scenes and publishing them for Android.

Good luck! :-)
