removeing recent projects from project wizard

hi i have a duplicate of my project on an external hdd uncompressed and i accidentally opened it on my computer and now i can't get rid of it from recent projects, this is a little bit annoying as i don't want to accidentally start working on it as it runs slow from hdd and sometimes its not up to date.

any idea on how to remove it from my project wizard, I'm on mac, i looked for the plist file but can't find it

I found this answer in another question thread (though this question came up first in Google for me, so I figure I would add Skalev's answer here too):

http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/220108/how-to-remove-project-from-the-project-wizard.html

Below is Skalev's answer, with a few minor fixes for clarity.

On Windows, this is written to the registery.

Run "regedit", and find the key:

> HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Unity Technologies > Unity Editor 3.x

There you'll see the list of "RecentlyUsedProjectPaths-[#]_[gibberish data]" you can delete them :)
