Question by dd619 · Aug 24, 2012 at 06:31 AM · androidjavaobject

problem while creatinng AndroidJavaObject

Hello devs,

i am developing an android plugins for unity and put the jar inside the Plugins/Android/

In this i have two classes

1)AndroidTTSActivity(which is main class and extends unityplayer activity)
2)myclass(which is a separate java class)

i am calling AndroidTTSActivity's function as below,

AndroidJavaClass jc = new AndroidJavaClass("com.unity3d.player.UnityPlayer"); AndroidJavaObject jo = jc.GetStatic("currentActivity"); jo.Call("myAlert"); And it works just fine.

But when i try to call "myclass" functions like this, AndroidJavaClass jc = new AndroidJavaClass("com.dd.tts"); AndroidJavaObject jo=new AndroidJavaObject("myclass"); jo.Call("getAlarm"); It shows the following error, JNI: Unable to find constructor method id with signature '()V' how can i fix this?

Finally i figured it out!!! when you want to create object of simple java class object you can directly do it by passing name of class like below,

Obj=new AndroidJavaObject(package_name.class_name)
