Find tagged game object from defined position.


 Player
 |-Bone
   |-Hand(not tagged)
   |-Hand(tagged as "Handy")


I want to find tagged Hand. Dont tell me i can simply use

 find.gameObject.tag = "Handy";

Thats not the point. I want to define position, where it should look for it first. Because there might be more such elements in the scene(And i always want to find the players one). As You see the name "Hand" is duplicated, and i cant change it. I have tried this already:

 hand = GameObject.Find("/Player/Bone/Hand");

But it always find, first "Hand" which isnt tagged.

No matter how, i have to find second(tagged) Hand.

The way that I would do this is to iterate through all the children.

 void FindHandy()
 {
    GameObject bone = GameObject.Find("/Player/Bone");
 
    foreach (Transform child in bone.transform)
    {
       if (child.tag == "Handy")
       {
           // Do whatever you want to it here
           break;
       }
    }
 }
