Making a thruster shape with particles

Hi,

I'd like to know how I could make a thruster effect in Unity. I know how to create a particle system with velocity, etc... But how could I make the particle system grow smaller as it emits, just like a thruster, with an ellipsoid particle emitter?

Check out this example to see what I mean about the thruster particle system growing smaller: http://ofgabriel.com/minelander/minelander_b1/WebPlayer/

Thanks! :)

Here's the tutorial from the WebPlayer link you posted : http://cgcookie.com/unity/2012/02/24/game-planning-lunar-lander-01/

I'm not familiar with the new shuriken particle system, but there's alot of tutorials out there, just a couple :

and here's a page from the Unify Community : http://wiki.unity3d.com/index.php/Particle_Spiral_Effect

Thanks, I found just what I was looking for there! As well as a lot of other interesting things about particles! :)
