Your question doesn't make much sense, could you try to re-explain what you're trying to accomplish?

your trying to add boxmass usingn the 'new' keyword, yet you're declaring boxmass as a float. Either your mixing up your objects, or you're confusing us with your na$$anonymous$$g conventions.

holy spell-check batman, i apologize. what i was attempting to do was add a variable, boxmass, (which would be the mass of the object hit with the main object) to an array, all-masses,(which would be used latter and would contain all objects touching the main object and their masses. I have looked around and to my noob credit found something for just that " allmasses.Add(boxmass); " . Thank you for your comments too.
