Limit position

How can a limit be put on the position of a vector3?

Mathf.Clamp may work. You could also use a trigger object and stop the movement going a certain direction when you hit the trigger.

I've been trying to figure it out. I don't think the Unity documentation explains enough. Can you write some example code?

Can you expand on exactly what values you want clamped? Is it within an area or only on a specific axis?

I might be wrong, but I think the axis only returns -1 0 or 1. Are you trying to limit the rotation on a gameobject?

value = $$anonymous$$athf.Clamp(value, lowerLimit, upperLimit)

vector.x = $$anonymous$$athf.Clamp(vector.x, lower, upper)
