How do you access a two dimentional array from another script in javascript?

'script1.js

var array : boolean[,]; array = new boolean[4,4];

script2.js

GameObject.Find("object1").GetComponent(script1).array[1,1] = true;'

This is what I need to do but using this code will give me an array saying the array is rank 1, not rank 2.
