Question by archaismic · Jan 28, 2013 at 02:55 AM · lightingchoppy

Lighting is making my scene look crazy/spikey/broken.

alt text

So I'm pretty new to Unity and game developement and have never really done anyt$$anonymous$$ng with lighting where it had to look good.

I don't even know what's going on here, but I would desperately like to know how to fix it, any help would be appreciated, even a COMPREHENSIVE tutorial on lighting or the like.

I've looked at like 20 videos and tutorials and a lot of forum posts about lighting in Unity but none of them seem to touch on what's going on here.

It's like t$$anonymous$$s both in scene mode and game mode.

And how far away is your point light? Is it close to the objects, or is it higher up?

Try adjusting the light's Bias slider found on the Light's component.
