Script cant get reference to its game object.

I have a script that I am attaching to a GameObject at runtime. Inside the scripts Awake method I am creating a Sprite using SpriteManager.

I have to pass in a reference to the GameObject with this method but when I try pass it in with the "this" keyword it thinks I'm trying to pass reference to the script.

I know I've seen it somewhere but cant remember how to get the game object the script is attached to?

Here is the answer

I didn't know you could simply type gameObject and it was a variable that references the Scripts game object.
