CG Shaders. Get pixels from previous pass (or write to texture)

Hello everyone, i have a question about cg shaders. How can i access pixels calculated in the first pass from the second pass? Is it possible at all?

What i am trying to do is to make an image effect that glows the most bright areas on screen. So first i set up the script that copies rendered image into shader's _MainTex texture. Then in the shader in first pass i find the most bright areas, the next pass is for blurring out the previous result, then the final third pass is for combinig. The problem is that i cant get calculated pixels from first pass to the second pass.

Sorry if question is dumb, couldnt find anything on that on the web though. Thanks for attention.
