how can i use unity for my game art portfolio

hi frnds, im new to unity and just started to use it. im completely fascinated by its power. ive got these game models ive created in max and maya and i want to include them in my reel / portfolio and i just dont know what to do. if anyone could ghelp me ot as how can i use unity to take some in-game kinda renders / snaps from inside unity…thanx…i use unity 3.5 pro… thanx and waiting for your replies…

I am doing something similar myself, except I am a programming graduate.

I would suggest a demo scene with the models you want to show off loaded in and on display. Similarly you could load in any 2D images - sketches, etc. - and place them onto flat planes for viewing. Then have a simple camera - 1st person, or 3rd with a character - controllable to view all your creations.

Unity’s Standard Assets has camera control scripts and/or character controllers available.
