Question by WegPast · Dec 28, 2010 at 02:15 AM · errorinstallationunitypackageskyboxes

I can't install unity 3.1.0f4: error while extracting... please help me.

Hi ! I'm new, I would like to install the free unity 3 (the 3.1.0f4 version) on my computer but at about 40% of installing the it says : "Extract: error writing to file Skyboxes.unityPackage" and then do nothing at all .... :/

I'd try to download it again and restart the installation again but the same probleme occured.

Please help, I want to try it ! ><

Try Unity 2.6, make sure that the file is actually saved to the computer... Try right clicking and changing the compatibility mode... One of those are bound to work... Hope you can get it to work =).

I'd try with compatibilities modes but it still won't work. I'm downloading 2.6, I'll try it. But if it work, will I be able to upgrade to the latest version?
