GDB: Program received signal: SIGABRT

Today I updated to OSX10.6.6. After the update, I get an error when building my app with Xcode. Maybe its a coincidence, Im just mentioning it.

The game runs without errors/ warning in the UnityIDE.

I have hit build & run in Unity, it automatically starts Xcode and after it installs the game on my iphone, the game tries to start, it freezes at the splash screen and Xcode gives:

GDB: Program received signal: SIGABRT

I open the debugger console and see this:

2011-01-08 22:55:30.988 GameTitle[1165:307] -> registered mono modules warning: Unable to read symbols for /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.2.1 (8C148a)/Symbols/usr/lib/info/dns.so (file not found). Couldn't register com.AlexisMichail.HIiCube with the bootstrap server. Error: unknown error code. This generally means that another instance of this process was already running or is hung in the debugger.Program received signal: SIGABRT. warning: Unable to read symbols for /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.2.1 (8C148a)/Symbols/Developer/usr/lib/libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib (file not found). (gdb)

Does this have anything to do with the OSX update having taken place?

SIGABRT encompasses a wide variety of errors. The most frequent being a NullReference.

When I have gotten this error, the only way I could solve it was restarting my iPhone.

Search this line and you will see that this appears to be a bug in XCode:

Error: unknown error code. This generally means that another instance of this process was already running or is hung in the debugger.Program received signal: SIGABRT

Thank you very much Peter, I really appreciate the 3 links too. Restarting the iphone solved it. :)
