Unity Install error

I've downloaded Unity3d countless times to ensure file integrity, but I keep getting a 'Installer integrity check has failed' error.

There is scant information out there regarding this problem, but googling suggests disabling anti-virus (Which I've done) and running the installer from the command prompt with '/NCRC', this starts the installer but it fails further on.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet ? Or can direct me to a post where it has been solved ?

What platform, what environment, what version, where did you get the download from, how did you download it? Please be more specific when asking questions. Also make your title more specific, so that people with answers will come to your question

And BTW, if you have a problem with Windows 8... No one can help you... that operating system was dead before it started
