trying to get a collection system for a Myst type game

ok I have been working on a game with a bit of a Myst feel, not important, anyway a major game play element I need is being able to collect and view notes, now my scripting isn't all that good but I have got a pack for basic page collection, however when I put the scrips int he correct locations and set it up the way it is supposed to be I still can't collect or view an object. a lot of the same questions are just "ok here is the script" ok thanks now where do I put it? am I doing somet$$anonymous$$ng wrong? is there a different script that will be us full? or am I out of luck?

I just need a basic system to collect and view pieces of paper -_- I can do everyt$$anonymous$$ng else but get the scrips to work. any help on what scripts to use and hwere to put them would be usfull.

you really need to search on ALL the question on here about collections etc.

this site really is not for absolute beginner tutorials eg, how to add scripts etc. read unityGEMS.com for many beginner articles

once you read ALL the questions on here about collection, scripts, slender, etc post a specific question if you have one INCLUDING your short code fragments, screen shots and so on.
