Need help with animations using SM2

Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me with a way to play the correct animations for when the character is running/jumping/attack. I got left and right animations, just need a way to play them correctly according to which way the character is.

Here is my code so far: using UnityEngine; using System.Collections;

 public class HackAnimation : MonoBehaviour
 {
     public PackedSprite Player;
 
     void Update()
     {
         if(Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.RightArrow))
         {
             Player.DoAnim(0);
         }
         if(Input.GetKeyUp(KeyCode.RightArrow))
         {
             Player.StopAnim();
         }
         
         if(Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.LeftArrow))
         {
             Player.DoAnim(3);
         }
         if(Input.GetKeyUp(KeyCode.LeftArrow))
         {
             Player.StopAnim();
         }
         
         if(Input.GetKey(KeyCode.Space))
         {
             Player.DoAnim(1);
         }
         
         if(Input.GetKey(KeyCode.F))
         {
             Player.DoAnim(2);
         }
         
     }
 }

I assume the code above here works? Can you give greater detail about what you are trying to do and why it is not working?

Yes the script above is working for characters right movements. What I need help with is making it work for left movements as well. Example if the character is running to the left, I want to play the left attack animation, but now it plays the right attack animation regardless of which direction you are running.

Hope that makes it a little more clear :)
