You should be able to simply click on the Unity window where the game should be and it will automatically install the Unity Web Player. Alternatively use the official download link : http://unity3d.com/webplayer/ . This is under 1$$anonymous$$B, so I have no idea what you have downloaded previously but it doesn't sound right.

@alucardj - the site I need unity for says please upgrade to 3.xx and I have 4.xx installed should not I install 3.xx for that ? or how can I have both 4.xx and 3.xx? and I want to know how to and from where install 3.xx? and As I try to find install path for that (unity) I just find a folder named unity in application data folder containing one file which was in some subfolders. I want to know is this the correct install path? if yes where should I paste the zip file that has a size about 100$$anonymous$$B-350$$anonymous$$B? thanks again.

The webplayer lugin will download the right engine version automatically. So always install the latest plugin just from the official site. $$anonymous$$ake sure you don't block Javascript on the website and check your firewall (if you have one).
