Custom Input in Character Motor Script?

Greetings.

I'm using the UniWii dll to control my character using the Wii Remote.

I'm trying to modify the character motor script from here. This is just a C# version of the original JS Character motor provided with Unity.

My question is, which part of the script handles the input key to move the character? How does it determine whether I pressed the up, down, left or right key and move in that direction? This is important since I need to implement the Wii Remote directional key to move my character.

I'm guessing this is the part which captures the key pressed :

 // The current global direction we want the character to move in.
     [System.NonSerialized]
     public Vector3 inputMoveDirection = Vector3.zero;

But I have no idea how to modify it.

This is the code to check the Wiimote key state :

 if (wiimote_getButtonUp(0) == true)
   // move forward

I'm very grateful if anyone can help me with this. :)

the last part of code you posted appears to be what grabs the input from the controller to decide what vector3 to send it
