Question by Herman-Tulleken · Feb 11, 2011 at 03:37 PM · androidremote

How do I find out anything about the Unity Remote for Android that is available in Unity 3.2?

The release notes states:

Android Remote is now available on all build targets; iPhone remote is now available on all build targets on Mac OS X.

But I cannot find any information on how to get it. The documentation still states:

The Unity Remote is not yet available for Unity Android. Please watch this space as the remote is added for future versions.

(It probably has just not been updated). Anyone knows anything about how to get this going?

For reference for others: Just download it, install it, start it. Your phone has to be plugged in with your computer, enable the "USB Debugging $$anonymous$$ode". Them simply start Unity and hit play, and Unity3d will receive input from your android device and send a screenshot image once or twice a second to your phone
