2D Compass-like Character

I am creating a CUSTOM character controller.

I have a BOX with PROPERTY: rigidbody, box collider, SCRIPT:box.js

What I want to do is that I want to stop rotation of the object when it is facing the ARROW DIRECTION

Question: 1. how to work it out? 2. I have tried to make another script which work out well but the character can "crash" into other character(also with rigidbody). How to fix this? ( I have another function call move to move towards the transform.forward direction )
