Educational version 1 activation?

The FAQ says that the educational version of unity pro is good for one activation on one computer. Does this mean that if I upgrade my computer after installing unity, I will have to purchase another educational license? Or just that my license can only be used on a single computer at a time, and that like the regular pro version, I can return my license within the editor and then activate it on another computer.

It means your license can only be used on a single computer at a time .. But if you upgrade or change your computer you can contact Unity and they will migrate you license to the new computer.

According to http://unity3d.com/unity/activation you can migrate your own license ins$$anonymous$$d of contacting unity as of Unity 4. Is this also the case for the educational license?

Not sure .. But I had to contact Unity to migrate mine .. It was 3.x not 4 at the time.

But I would have thought a license is a license no mater if Pro or educational.
