Change Global Rotation Precisely

Hello, I have a problem. For some reason the global rotation of my character has changed, and the terrain he is on is completely flat and he isn't rotated at all, except his global rotation and for some reason when I start the game my character starts rotating as if the terrain was shifted, but it's not. I was wondering if there was some way to change it back precisely instead of just guessing. Thanks!

Check colliders on your player, and all its children. $$anonymous$$ake sure they are all correctly scaled. Check terrain settings as well. Also I need to ask, is your character a CharacterController, or a Rigidbody?

Checked all the player settings nothing wrong there. And I don't need to check the terrain settings because i tried it on two different terrains. Also I'm using character controller.

Have you tried using a new CharacterController?

If you just have a character w/ character controller component and built in script, just delete the one you're using and add a new one. If you have imporeted the standard assets pack, there is a fps controller you can just drag and drop to your scene ready to use.

Well the thing is, it's not a problem with the character controller. It's just that the global rotation is positioned wrong and I can't position it back evenly.

If your character isn't parented to anything this shouldn't be an issue. $$anonymous$$aybe I'm not getting what you're asking. If you have a character controller on a flat terrain, your character is rotating?

All you have to do is what I said, remove the character, add a new one.

Is it a First person or Third person controller, and is the character itself rotating, or is it just the camera rotating?

Here's what I have: I have a capsule without a mesh renderer and i have a Character Controller only to control movement. Then i have a camera linked to the capsule. Now my problem is when i select the Player, which has the camera linked to it, the global rotation is changed therefor when I start the game, my character(Player) starts sliding off the terrain.
