Rotate In Loacation

Hi guys ,,

I have question like example below :

when user click on button , the button will send the user for another location ...

my problem , in new location the camera was in wrong view !! It facing the wall not the home for example ...

If I try to script code (rotate) it will change all player moving way !! so it's wrong !!

This looks like a teleport case. I usually create an empty object at the teleport destination and adjust its rotation so that it faces the correct direction. When teleporting to this place, the position and rotation of the destination object are copied to the player - like this (player script):

 var destination: Transform; // drag the destination object here
 
 function Update(){
   if (Input.GetKeyDown("j")){ // if J pressed...
     // move this object to destination position...
     transform.position = destination.position;
     // and copy the destination rotation:
     transform.rotation = destination.rotation;
   }
 }

hi aldonaletto , thanks for the code .. unfortunately it's not working as i want !!

your code will send the player for target which is wrong !! i just need the camera (LookAt) / (Rotate) around y-axis without change the keyboard control !!

i will simple this : let we say the up,down keys for forward,backward if i change the rotation it will change the up,down so the player will walk forward by angle which is wrong !!

i need only to change camera viewing angle ... thanks
