How to know which Collider of your Object was hit (On Collision)

Hi

I'll try to explain the situation, the moving Object which collides is a car. This car has many BoxColliders for realistic Collisions. Now I want to know how I can make the game say which Collider of the car hit the other object. For example when the car hits a wall, I don't want to know the Collider of the wall, instead I want the Collider of the CAR which hit the wall.

Script:

 var Projectorl : GameObject;

 var colliderl : Collider;

 function Start () {

 }

 function Update () {

 }

 function OnCollisionEnter(collisionl : Collision){

 if(collisionl.relativeVelocity.magnitude > 30){

 if(collisionl.collider == colliderl){

 Projectorl.active = true;

 }

 }

 }

PS: Sorry for bad english

$$anonymous$$any colliders for a GameObject? Why do you do that? $$anonymous$$aybe it will be more simple if you make your car is parent of many objects and each of them has its own collider. I think it will work with your idea.

A collision has an array of contact points (Collision.contacts). Each contact has a reference to both colliders:

http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/ContactPoint.html

So you can check the thisCollider of the contacts to see what collider was hit.

 function OnCollisionEnter(Collision: collider){
  Debug.Log("GameObject Hit: " + collider.gameObject.name);
 }

You can always debug and ask for the specific name of the gameobject whos collider was hit. Also, I would suggest renaming Collision1 to something more readable, in this case I almost always use "collider".
