function works on desktop but not laptop

I have a unity function that crashes on my laptop but works fine on my desktop. I replaced unity on the laptop but it still crashes. I found the offending line in the console, but it doesn't make any sense as to why it would crash on one machine and work on the other.

I thought maybe it was a timing issue and put in yields to wait for x seconds but that didn't seem to help either. The version of unity is the same on both.

How do you go about debugging these things.

Is it code you wrote or was it in the engine/editor? If you wrote it could you show us please?

Without the code, we can't help. The variety of issues is way to broad for a direct answer without it.

This is in the Editor. The code involves showing a webkit plugin.
webViewObject.SetVisibility(true); That same line works fine many places in the overall codebase. It also works on 3 other computers. Just not on that laptop.
