How do you trigger a function when you change an enum value in the Inspector?

Using a custom Inspector, how can I call a function when I select a value from an enum drop down? (I assume there's some event I can listen for, but I've never done this.)

Unless I'm misunderstanding your requirements, it would just be:

void OnInspectorGUI()
{
  MyClass targ = target as MyClass;
  MyEnum newValue = (MyEnum)EditorGUILayout.EnumPopup( targ.myEnumVal );
  if( newValue != targ.myEnumVal)
  {
     targ.myEnumVal = newValue;
     // do stuff, call functions, etc.
  }
}

You can also just set GUI.changed = false right before, and then check if GUI.changed is true right after.

Thanks GUI.changed is what I needed. It doesn't seem like setting it to false first is necessary, though. Is it?

I would assume 'changed' starts OnGUI false, so if you only have the one popup you wouldn't need to set it first, but of course if you have other controls before your popup they could set it to true.
