bounds.intersects on Non-AABB (Local) bounds?

Hi all,

I am using bounds.Intersects to find if my bound is intersecting into another collider. But this is AABB .. My object is not squarish.. more like a rectangle. if i am not aligned to world axes, then my collider bound is quite big, and it shows intersectiopn when i am not near enough. Any method to do this in local space?

Rigth now, I am calculating teh 8 vertices in my local space (Based on teh initial extents i had saved when i instantiated teh object, in world axis), and do a series of bounds.Contains checks and some raycasts.. which i want to optimize..

BTW, This is no rigidbody.. Just a mesh without a collider. And teh "Other" object is static, not a rigidbody either.
