Setting Up Blender Objects to work accurately with snap settings

How do I set up my blender files to work accurately with Unities Snap Settings. My objects cut into each other.

Thanks

Well you have to work with the objects origin in Blender aswell for this.

if you make a object that should be repeated or snap to other objects, make sure the origin in Blender is positioned at one of the corners of the object, or the position you want it to snap to. (the objects origin is the orange dot shown in the 3D view when an object is selected.)

Also before you export move the object (make sure you're in object mode so you don't move the vertices away from the origin again... have managed to do that lots of times myself and it's quite irritating.) err anyways, move the entire object so its origin is positioned at the very center of the scene. Then export and it should snap properly :)

Thanks for your answer, I don't see the orange dot. Could you explain more.

Sure, here are some screenshots I took of it: http://et-aw.com/datas/users/276-aaunselected.jpg <- while obj. is unselected, http://et-aw.com/datas/users/276-aaselected.jpg <- while selected, notice the dot at the bottom of the object.

As you can see I run v2.5 but in case you don't, the dot exist in earlier versions aswell but could be of different color. :) And if you have changed from the default color setup or added a new theme it could probably be another color aswell.
