Rigidbody missing... but there is one?

So, I'm programming, trying to make a person climb a wall and i go through all of this crap to get this script to where it is from the ground up (Yes, #pragma strict is at the top in the source file over here):

 var isCollidedWithWall;
 var isCollidedWithLedge;
 var OldY;
 var Wall : GameObject;
 var Ledge : GameObject;
 var Player : GameObject;

 function Start () {
     isCollidedWithWall = false;
     isCollidedWithLedge = false;
     Wall.tag = "Wall";
     Ledge.tag = "Ledge";
 }

 function OnCollisionEnter(hit : Collision){
 if(hit.gameObject.tag  ==  "Wall"){
     isCollidedWithWall = true;
 } else {
     isCollidedWithWall = false;
 }
 if(hit.gameObject.tag  ==  "Ledge"){
     isCollidedWithLedge = true;
 } else {
     isCollidedWithLedge = false;
 }
 }

 function Update () {
     //Check if collision with wall is true & player is holding the left shift key down
     if(isCollidedWithWall && Input.GetKey(KeyCode.LeftShift)){
         //When player pushes "W"
         //if(Input.GetKey(KeyCode.W)){
             //Set force on Y axis to 5
             Player.rigidbody.AddForce(Vector3.up * 10);
         } else {
             Player.rigidbody.AddForce(Vector3.up * 0);
         }
 }

and then i attach a rigidbody after i attach the script, and it says there's no rigidbody when i run the game. Help?

You are accessing the rigidbody of the game object "Player":

  Player.rigidbody.AddForce(Vector3.up * 10);

etc...

whatever object is added to this variable "Player" must be the one with the rigidbody attached. (it cannot be a child object, etc)

just make sure the object which is stored in that variable has a rigidbody

It is on the object, not a child object, I'll try other things

I just attempted putting the script and a rigidbody on a child part, still saying there isn't a rigidbody. :/

Fixed the script, however, another problem arises: The character controller isn't moving with the rest of it.

character controllers are for objects without rigidbodies. if you are using rigidbody physics with your player, you should remove the character controller
