Unity Pro Trial - after export to iOS no realtime shadow

Hi guys,

for testing out the performance of my iPad 4 I yesterday registered for the Unity Pro Trial to enable realtime shadowing on my directional light in my testscene. As been said on the unity download page "...with Pro publishing for iOS" I thought i could test my scene with realtime shadows on my iPad.

But when i exported the Unity project to XCode and compiling it to my iPad, the scene ran just normally (with "trial version" standing in the bottom right corner), but without any realtime shadow on my character??

Can't we test the Pro features in the trial version on our devices?? That would make the whole trial useless or how can i fix this? I am using the newest Unity 4.2, Mac OS X 10.8.4

I really need to test out, if realtime shadows on my character are working in my scene, so any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Chris

Edit (08|31|13):

Problem is solved! Don't know why it didn't work with the Trial Version (maybe i had chosen "smooth shadows" ??), but tried again with the free version of Unity 4.2, which includes realtime shadows for iOS too. Again, exported, compiled --> works perfectly! Thanks Unity for supporting realtime shadows in Unity Free now!!!

you can only have hard shadows on iOS that was your problem as you already suggested ;)

Just thought I write it again a little bit clearer in case anybody else has the problem.
