Can a lights falloff be removed?

Hey guys,

I'm making a game that's very light intensive and I need to know exact ranges at w$$anonymous$$ch lights will end, so I basically need them to make a very specific sphere of light. The way I figured out you can do t$$anonymous$$s is laying lights upon each other. It's not very friendly to the performance side of t$$anonymous$$ngs though. So, is there any other way to just take away the amount that a light will falloff? Or am I pretty much stuck here?

Whatever a light does is just a function of the shader you're using, and you can make and use whatever shaders you want.

@xniinja I've found this book very helpful so far. I just started it a few days ago: Unity Shaders and Effects Cookbook

That's always a good idea. When you learn them, let me know how it's done. ;) (My shader knowledge is sadly a version or two out of date....)
