Change xcode project "Unity-Iphone" to my app name?

Currently, the default generated iphone xcode project would have the app name of "Unity-Iphone", would like to know how do I replace this with my app name?

The Xcode project is always just called Unity-iPhone, but to change the app's name, i.e. what is shown under the icon on the device, you do this:

  1. Open Unity

  2. Go to Edit -> Project Settings -> Player

  3. Change Product Name to whatever you want the app to be called

  4. Rebuild project

If you want to change the Xcode project's name, tap the project name in the top left corner, like so:

Don't edit this name!
Note that rena$$anonymous$$g default Xcode project name from Unity-iPhone will disable the ability to Append to existing project on next build as shown here:

Append disabled in unity ios build Append button is disabled in alert

I think this is annoying if you want to easily keep track of your Build number and don't want to select Team setting on each build. You'll lose customized settings within generated Xcode project but at this point, I think you shouldn't do xcode project customization anyway.

Click Edit Schemes, under Unity-Iphone

Click "Manage Schemes" when you see unity-phone , rename that bitch.
