Mesh triangle movement

hello, im programming a game where you can move a triangle according to his "parent". the sphere was modelled in wings 3d, included uv mapping. but on the cutting side for uv mapping is a hole, when i move down the align triangle. how can i remove this "gap"?

otherwise when i hold my tool onto the sphere, it stats to lag. the sphere has 1400triangels
