Masking text mesh in 4.3

I have an invisible depth masking object, which makes every object on the same layer invisible behind it. It works perfectly on everything, except my text mesh.

Since 4.3, text meshes are not always rendering on top, for example I can put them behind sprites, and other objects, but sadly, not behind my depth mask.

This makes me thing, that there is an issue with the depth mask.

I use this shadder:

 Shader "Depth Mask" 
 {
     SubShader 
     {
         Tags {"Queue" = "Geometry-100" }
         ZTest On
         ZWrite On
         ColorMask 0
         Pass {}
     }
 }

Can someone point me to the right direction?

I know very little about shaders but I use this one in pre-4.3. Worth a shot...
