Question by Nicholas 1 · Apr 13, 2011 at 04:04 PM · texturelerp

How to add origColor code structure to lerp my texture and not the model

function correct(obj : GameObject)
{
    var tempMats : Material[] = obj.GetComponent("LabelColorHover").OrigColor;
    var origColor : Color =obj.GetComponent("LabelColorHover").origColor;
    var feedbackMats : Material[] = new Material[tempMats.Length];
    for(var i = 0 ; i < tempMats.Length ; i++)
    {
        feedbackMats[i] = greenMaterial;
        gameObject.Find("GameObject").GetComponent("BlinkingText").showCorrectText = true;//flashing correct text when model truns green.
    }
    obj.renderer.materials = feedbackMats;
    yield new WaitForSeconds(2.0);
    obj.renderer.materials = tempMats;
    obj.renderer.material.color = origColor;
    gameObject.Find("GameObject").GetComponent("BlinkingText").showCorrectText = false;
}

Is it really that hard to select all your code and press the "101010" button to mark it as code?

That code is a mess and your title makes no sense at all. You used two custom scripts we have absolutely no idea what they do. You have two variables that are named almost the same (`OrigColor` and origColor) but the first one seems to be a $$anonymous$$aterial array and the second is a color?!? Sorry, but I can't even find a point where i could start. It's just an unrelated code fragment without a real question...

@Nicholas: Could you post an actual question? What is your problem? Where do you get stuck? What do you want to achieve?
