Problem with a mirror object

Hello, I´ve created a basic game for demonstrate of the features of Unity 3D with 3DS Max. Everything worked fine, but the last step who was to add a tank, the top side which a mirror copy was made is imported with problems within the Unity 3D. I would like your help to solve this problem, because I need to present this project to my college next week. Thank you!

The tank should like this:

I'm not familiar with $$anonymous$$ax, but I would first try to apply the mirror modifier in $$anonymous$$ax and then export it to unity to see if that is the problem. If everything looks fine in $$anonymous$$ax, then I'm assu$$anonymous$$g the mirror modifier wasn't applied before you exported it.

In Blender, there is an "Apply $$anonymous$$odifier" checkbox, which you can check to apply any modifiers that have not already been applied, this is cool if you want to continuously make changes with the modifier still unapplied even after applying it for the export to see the result in Unity. I'm sure $$anonymous$$ax has a similar feature when you export and if it doesn't, I would duplicate your object and apply the mod to the duplicate.

The normals seem to be inverted (if you position the unity camera inside the cockpit it should invert the effect, the invisible part becomes visible and vice versa). I don't know how you made this mirrored part, but to fix it you can just collapse the whole thing and manually flip the normals of the side that is wrong.

In the future check your workflow, there's probably better ways to mirror an object. I personally like to use the symmetry modifier.
