Side battle tutorial using 3d objects

Excuse me, im trying to find out how to create a side battle using 3d object..

the game will goes like tekken series or soul calibur series where player face enemy on 1vs1.. but my is turn battle system, so i press attack, and my character will attack followed by enemy's attack..

my environment is all plane but my object(character) is 3d.. emm, so is there any tutorial to achieve this? or maybe what syntax should i use?

i try to use gameobject.Find().transform.position to make the player move to enemy place.. but it's just so crappy.. i mean, the object just vanishing and appear at that location.. but no motion at all.. i've read about iTween for creating motion, is that ok using that?

i mean i can't get it how to make an object move to the place i desire but not just vanishing and appear at that point, but he "moved" there..

sorry for bad English.. but i hoped the reader understand it.. thanks before :)
