Cant get spotlight cookie to work

Question

I have tried multiple settings. I tried importing as jpeg, and png. Tried proper settings for the graphic as a texture, cookie and advanced settings. I also tried changing my project quality to "good".

I am using Unitys free version which allows cookies I looked that up, they limit shadow settings though.

Its because my cookie was not perfectly square and didnt have a black border.

Did u assign the texture to the Spotlight's field named Cookie ? And if you already have done that then i dont know why its not working, try explaining the situation a little bit more.

Yea I am sorry, when I try adding the texture to the field, either drag and drop or the file select button, nothing happens! It just stays blank. Also I forgot to mention I am developing for mobile which I dont think matters.
