Question by WaterMinecraft · Jan 13, 2014 at 11:13 PM · unity 4.2

Issue with Blender export imported to Unity.

So I created a tunnel from a tutorial that uses a single plane that you just extrude everything else from it... And the problem I'm having is that I can view it inside Blender, but when I import it to Unity, I can't see the inside, just the outside... I can attach my blender file to see if anyone can help!

With a single plane, your normals will be like that I believe. You'll need to create an inner surface on the tunnel as well

... Sooo... (: What do you mean? Haha Sorry! Would I have to redo it? But if I redo it, how would I do it differently?

in other words, you need two-sides to your tunnel and you really only have one from a singple plane if I understand correctly. In Blender, take the tunnel, select all faces, extrude slightly down to make the inside. View the changes in Edit mode / ViewPort Shading Solid and look into the inside - you may need to select all the new faces of the inside of the tunnel and hit Normals / Flip Direction
