importing from maya fbx problems

I have created a road from maya alt text

maya will automatically tile the texture, but when exported as fbx 2012 and imported into unity, only the center portion showing up

also, the road in unity is upside down, the Y axis is reversed

have some encounter the same problem? and how to solve it?

tks~

tks~

i'm using a image file as diffuse color of the object, and export the selected object in maya as fbx file

unity import the mesh and automatically created a diffuse shader, can't see any texture import settings of the texture

The texture is somewhere in your assets folder. Look for it and click on it to see it's properties.

Or, click on the texture input of the shader, and you will have it select the texture in your assets folder for you. Then just click on the texture it found in the assets.

Check the settings on your imported texture. "Wrap Mode" might be set to "Clamp", which means it won't repeat.

Or if it's a Sprite, it needs to be put into Texture mode as well, sprites don't repeat UVs currently.
