Need help to work with Animator of a Sprite in 4.3.3

i can remember in previous versions, an animated object had "animation" component that was attached to the object, there were some options and one of them that was very useful was "play automatically" ... in new version i have made a sprite and make a simple move animation for it, i saw that there is "Animator" component instead of "animation" ... and in default the animation is playing ! but i don't want to play the animation when my game starts ... i want it stopped. and then if one of my object collision with other object, then the animation will play. but im lost in new version and i think animator changes a lot. please help me to do this simple work !

In the Animator window, one of the clips will be highlighted in orange - this is the default clip. Right-click on another clip and choose "Set As Default" to make it the new default. If you don't have an idle clip yet, then make one, using the Animation window - just make an empty clip with no curves defined.

There is a good YouTube tutorial on this here. When you're done, you may want to read the docs on the Animator component. Basically, how it works, is that in the Animator component, you define variables that can be set from scripts. These variables determine what animation to play.
