no GUI on Oculus Rift?

Hi everybody! Is it possible that there is no way to integrate an easy GUI Layer to the Oculus Interface? If I create a GUI an start the OVR of the oculus the GUI doesn´t split to each of the oculus screens. so I think there is necessary a communication between the GUI and the OVR plugin but I dont know how to do that. can somebody held me?

thanks!

You first need to render the texture of your GUI using Render Texture. Then after you have the render texture, you need to make a quad or a plane and position it in front of your right camera. After this you should be able to see your GUI on both camera's. You might need to tweak the quad or plane's positioning a bit so that everything lines up.

Great, it worked well. The current issue is that the quality is too poor and kind of blur. Can you help me what I am missing now? Thanks in advance

Hi, would you be please so kind and give a better explanation on how to achieve this? How do I render GUI using render texture? Thanks! I tried to attach my GUI script to the camera that was rendering the texture but I get the GUI painted over whole UI.

Hi! I would also love to know how this is accomplished. I made my whole prjoject directly on Unity, not knowing that Oculus would not display the canvas. Thanks!
