Question by jveronda · Feb 12, 2014 at 02:21 PM · animationimportfbx3dsmaxanimate

3ds max animation wont import. cant adjust keyframes?

Im trying to import an object from 3ds max into unity. The object is a simple paper scroll. The animation on the scroll is the scroll unraveling. When I try to import the scroll, the model is fine, but the animation will not work. Ive watched countess videos of people importing animation into unity from 3ds max and almost all of them adjust the key frames in unity. It will not let me adjust the start and end times. First it says that i have to "clamp" the start and end time before i can even try to adjust the time frame. I can adjust the time between 0 seconds and 1 second, i cannot set it passed 1 second. if i try to adjust it passed on second, it just resets it to 1 second. Please help, this is so frustrating lol. oh and ive exported it from 3ds max as an fbx file.
