Question by thedetire · Feb 23, 2014 at 06:02 PM · ragdoll

turning character into ragdoll when hit

Hey people,

i'm busy into making this game however i'm now three days stuck with the same problem.(i already read some threads but didn't help me much) How do i change my character with a running animation to a ragdoll when it is hit by an object.

example:

PLAYER is my player and helicopter is my object.

when my helicopter hits my player it needs to turn my player running animation off and change it to and ragdoll.

i've been three days looking and try to script (im not good at it) but i can't fix it.

thanks for replying, however it needs to be without anything. so when something falls on him he needs to ragdoll, however he will be in running animation so the animation has to be turned off when he is hit

$$anonymous$$any are asking for this. Some manage to make it happen but few succeed in having the ragdoll keep the momentum of the character. I have made a script for this that I am about to release on the asset store in a while. If you contact me on the forum I can give you a beta for free.

Maybe try AnimFollow instead, downloadable here: www.kavorka-racing.com. Videos on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKAqFCwB1BUZ1dN2qEAfn1w. AnimFollow is free, PBC is a better system that costs $180.
