How does scaleing work?

I made a ground level for my practice game and the scale is: x=1.988666 and z=1.790387. But the walls that i have made have really big scales for example: x=0.5 and z=18.42986. So my questions is how does my wall fit perfectly onto the ground if their z axis have that much of a significant difference?

You need to take into account the world size of objects. Unity's built-in plane object is 10 x 10 in world units. Unity's built-in cube is 1 x 1 x 1. That means there is a 10x difference in size. So for a perfect fit, you want to use a 10x scale. In your exmaple when you have a 'z' for the plane of '1.790387' your cube should have a 'z' value of 17.90387 to have a perfect match.

OH I didn't actually know that thanks. So do all shapes/objects have a scale of 1x1x1 w$$anonymous$$le the plane has 10x10x10?
