Nav Mesh Flee Code

At the moment i have a bit of code that makes my ai come towards the player using the navmesh, is there a simple way to invert this so they run away from him?

 var player: Transform;

 function Start(){
     player = GameObject.FindWithTag("Player").transform;
 }

 function Update()
 {
     GetComponent(NavMeshAgent).destination = player.position;
 }

NavmeshAgents work with setting explicit destination in world coordinates. So you need to first ensure that the player can actually get to the fleeing position.

Asu$$anonymous$$g that the world is flat , and there are no obstacles in the world , the simplest code would be :

 Vector3 direction = (player.position - transform.position).normalized;
 float fleeingDistance = 100; //run away for 100 units
  GetComponent(Nav$$anonymous$$eshAgent).destination = transform.position + direction* fleeingDistance;
