Creating classes or objects

Hello,

I am starting to get a nice feel for programing but what I still don't understand is objective programing.

What I'm trying to do atm is create a C# list which I can call or access in other scripts. Like a base database of somesort. From what I currently understand this could be done with creating an object class and then instantiating it. Or maybe create a method that always returns the List when called.

If anyone cound provide me with simple examples of creating a class or object I would be rly greatfull as that is how I learn best. Also an example of how to use or call that class or object.

Thank you!

oh and an example of what I currently have;

 using UnityEngine;
 using System.Collections;
 using System.Collections.Generic;

 public class CardDatabase
 {

     public List<CardObject> CardList()
     {

         /*00*/
         card_list.Add(new CardObject("null", "Empty object"));
         /*01*/
         card_list.Add(new CardObject("Bolezen", "Karta bolezen pomeni..."));
         /*02*/
         card_list.Add(new CardObject("Darilo", "Karta darilo pomeni..."));
         /*03*/
         card_list.Add(new CardObject("Denar", "Karta denar pomeni..."));
         /*04*/
         card_list.Add(new CardObject("Hisa", "Karta hiša pomeni..."));
         /*05*/
         card_list.Add(new CardObject("Izguba", "Karta izguba pomeni..."));
     }
 }

For global data that doesn't need more than once instance, either use a singleton or the static keyword.
