Animator Controller Tutorials

Hello,

Could someone direct me to good animator controller tutorials? I tried the unity script reference but I can't figure out how it works. Then I tried myself, same results.

It's not something complicated, there are 3 animations (idle, walk, attack) thatare supposed to be played with script. I just can't make it work.

Thanks :)

Search for Unity's Locomotion tutorial. It's all handled in there.

Create an Animator Controller in your project hierarchy then open it in the Animator Window. Add your animations and create transitions. Click the transitions and add parameters to control the transitions. Control your parameters from a separate, single Animation script. You can handle the whole thing by switching a few booleans.

Make sure the correct animations are snapped-in to the states when you click them in the Animator window.

This is a good and easy one, but for a sidescroller. But I think, it is also easy to use it for 3D animations.

If you cant, no problem Brackeys youtube channel offers a lot ( also others ).
